| GIRLS CELEBRATE OUTSTANDING GCSE RESULTS |
Students from Abbots Bromley School for Girls celebrated outstanding GCSE results with 100% of girls achieving 5 or more subjects at A* to C grade and over half of all the grades being A* or A. Mr Mark Fisher, Acting Head Teacher said: “We are delighted with the results of our Year 11 girls who have achieved a 100% pass rate and all have attained five or more subjects at A* to C grade. This reflects the dedication and hard work the girls have put into their studies and we are very proud of their excellent achievements”. Year 11 pupil Paige Bromley from Abbots Bromley achieved 9 GCSE’s at A* to B grade and is continuing her studies in the Sixth Form at Abbots Bromley School for Girls. She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with my results and I’m really looking forward to joining Year 12 next term.” Parent Mrs Sanders, whose daughter Kate is one of the school’s talented vocational dancers and also achieved excellent academic results of 9 GCSE’s at A* to C grade, said: “We are delighted with the results, for both Kate’s academic and dance performance subjects, she worked really hard and had considerable support from many staff within the school and we are thrilled for her.” |
