| AB CELEBRATE TOP MARKS IN RECENT BOARDING INSPECTION |
Abbots Bromley School for Girls in Staffordshire recently celebrated exemplary results from an Ofsted boarding inspection. The routine inspection conducted by Ofsted, the Government’s school’s standards and inspection department, showed that the school has an “outstanding” offering in many areas including helping boarders ‘to be healthy, enjoy and achieve’ and showing that the school was ‘well ordered and caring’. AB offers weekly, full, flexi and occasional boarding options for girls from the age of 8 to 18 and there is a close family unit feeling to its boarding community where every individual is valued and treated sensitively and friendships quickly grow between all ages. The inspection report commented that the students and staff ‘enjoy positive and respectful relationships’ and that they benefit from a supportive boarding experience which is ‘open and inclusive’. Ros Francis, Head of Boarding at Abbots Bromley School for Girls said: “we were thrilled with the results of our recent boarding inspection and the comments from the inspector highlighted our exemplary standards, our warm family atmosphere and the superb honest and open relationships between boarders and staff. We have a wonderful boarding community here at AB and offer great value for money. Our boarders have a secure and homely environment and are kept busy at the weekends with a wide variety of events and fun and cultural outings, all of which are included in the price of the fees. We’ve seen a big growth in the number of girls boarding over the past 4 years and the results of the recent inspection confirmed why boarding is so popular here at AB!” |
